Ice cream Chocolate Cake | Easy Home made



In summers, I used to fell in love with ice cream cakes. It is better to make a one at home to satisfy your cravings. Its a recipe of homemade chocolate cake topped with ready made vanilla ice cream. You can also make vanilla or any other flavored ice cream at home too with the help of your ice cream maker.
Probably, in our next recipe we will be going to share videos on instant and easy way of making ice creams at home. But for now on, lets stick to an easy and quick making of Ice cream cake recipe. 
That was the first time i prepared ice cream cake at home. You have to check out what's at the end. It was really funny. So, from now lets move to the detailed recipe:-

ICE CREAM CHOCOLATE CAKE

Preparation time : 10 to 15 minutes
Baking time : 25 to 35 minutes
Setting Ice cream Cake :  Over night
Serves: 7 to 8 members

Ingredients:


Chocolate Cake
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup of Icing Sugar
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup of warm Milk
  • 4 tablespoon of Cocoa powder (good quality)
  • 1 tablespoon of Coffee (optional)
Other Ingredients:
  • One liter Vanilla Ice cream (ready made)
  • Chocolate Maltese
  • Cooking Chocolate bar





Procedure to be followed:


STEP 1: MAKING CHOCOLATE CAKE: Pre-heat your oven up to 180 degrees of Centigrade. Grease and flour 9 inches of baking pan (I took a star shaped pan). Sieve all the dry ingredients cocoa powder, all purpose flour and baking powder, set aside. In a bowl, beat eggs till fluffy and creamy. Add in Vanilla Essence then icing sugar. Beat till all the ingredients are completely mixed. Now take out your spatula, fold in the dry ingredients which were set aside. Add some milk. Mix the batter and transfer it into greased pan. Bake it for about 30 to 40 minutes. Insert toothpick to check out whether its completely baked or not. If it comes out clean. Keep it at room temperature on a wire rack to cool. 



STEP 2: SPREADING ICE CREAM: Place your cake once again in last pan which you baked. You can linen the ends of the pan with sheet. Take out the ice cream slices and spread it on the top of the cake. As time passes by, ice cream starts melting resulting in a flat surface. Refrigerate it over night in a freezer.



STEP 3: Take out from the freezer. Give it sometime to rest at room temperature for few moments so you can easily take out your ice cream cake from pan. Turn it over, scratch out some cooking chocolate pieces over it with the help of peeler. Decorate with Maltese or anything you like to.

Now the Fun part which i was discussing:-
When i finished clicking the pictures and went to the kitchen. My husband came quietly, took out the whole ice cream cake and started eating it. He ate all the ice cream and left chocolate cake behind for me. He washed it with Mineral water and gave that to me. This gave me a sudden shock. I said, "O my God, what have you done with my ice cream cake? Why didn't you eat the cake layer too?" He replied, "As it was hard than normal cake, so i thought to better eat ice cream first". I was like, "Obviously its an ice cream cake, it will take few minutes to set, you could wait for a while". Same thing happened when i was making Pink Ombre Cake for the first time. He accidentally destroyed my cake. Last time I couldn't take a click, but now thought to share it will all of you.
