The others were purchased from reputable retailers and each bottle on this offer was inspected by a member of the Domaine Advisory Team.
Shafer’s Hillside select is one of the most sought after wines in Napa Valley. John Shafer came to the region looking specifically for a hillside site, and planted his first vines on the rocky slopes in the 1970s.
Roughly 2,400 cases of Shafer’s signature wine are produced yearly, making it especially hard to find. Robert Parker has hailed the wine as “one of the New World’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons” and the consistency each year is truly astounding.
Vega-Sicilia is widely considered the greatest estate in Spain, with a long storied history dating back to the 19th century. The wines are known for their ability to age and sometimes the Estate holds the wines release back up to 30 years! The wines only consist of the best vintages released after a decade or more of time in the cellar.
