Today’s offer is from a repeat consignor with Domaine, and the wines were all purchased in Europe and imported by us on a refrigerated container shipment. If we were going to curate a list, it would look very similar to this. Rousseau Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Beze, and Clos St. Jacques from stellar vintages is only one highlight. Two amazing 2010 Musignys from Drouhin and JF Mugnier are great selections if you are looking wine with extreme longevity that will reward patience. For everyday drinking the d’Angerville and Lafarge Volnay’s represent tremendous value and could be enjoyed now or cellared for many years.
Outside of red Burgundy, we have two great vintages of Salon, which is without a doubt one of our favorite Champagne houses. For non-sparking whites, we have some great white Burgundies from Leflaive and Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. Rounding out this fantastic offer is Italian favorites from Giacosa, Mascarello, and Soldera!
While quantities are very small, we are pleased to have some truly benchmark vintages from Soldera. Due to the small production and increasing popularity, Soldera Brunellos are some of the most sought-after and difficult to source wines in the world.
