Dhaba, Indiranagar

Delhi is not just the capital of our Nation but is at the helm of affairs when it comes to food. They say You haven’t tasted true India if you haven’t eaten at local Dhabas that usually found on highways. This Restaurant brings that authentic Dhaba taste in a sophisticated, posh and fine dining experience.

Food- Fantastic. Starters are appetising. Impressive Presentation. Highway Boneless Chicken Tikka Is remarkable. Succulent with an explosion of flavours on the palate. Amritsar Tandoori Kukkad is Superb. Marinated well and grilled perfectly. Exceptional and unique that everyone will relish though I felt a part was overcooked.

Balti Mutton Gravy is Exemplary. The tender meat delicately peels off the bone. Right Texture, spice and packed with flavour. It is what a Quintessential Indian Curry looks like. Butter Naan is excellent. Dal Makhni is extraordinary. Delicious will be an understatement. The richness, thickness and creaminess is outstanding. It truly excites your tummy and makes your belly happy. Also It is generous in calories too. Whether it is your cheat day or not, I would definitely recommend that you try.

Tawa Chicken Palao is brilliant. The aromatic rice with juicy pieces soaked in masala is irresistible.

Mocktails are above average yet it can be improved a little.

Delightful Indian Sweets for desserts. Gulab Jamunis incredible. Soft centre that melts in your mouth and a slightly crispy outer layer. Despite being soaked in syrup, it wasn’t soggy. Nuts add to the crunchiness.

Ambience- Amazing decor. Beautiful wall paintings of common posters used in the past and roadside signage. Marvellous artefacts and Copper Utensils. Spectacular layout and spacious arrangement. It Surely brings back nostalgic memories and takes you down the timeline. Lovely Lighting. Comfortable elegant sofas and nice bright coloured wooden chairs for seating. Great Bollywood desi music and air conditioning. Enjoyable atmosphere.

Service- Splendid. The preparation time is quite fast. Waiters are quick, efficient, friendly, courteous and well trained. They are willing to do something extra with a smile. Wonderful Hospitality. Valet parking available. Reservation Required to avoid waiting for long.

Pricing- Moderately High. There is value for money. Neither too expensive nor very pocket friendly. However it is worth the amount for the quality dishes and top notch service. Quantity is a bit less.
