Hoot Cafe: FBAB

As the sound of the night owl comes to mind when I hear the word ‘Hoot’, this is a must visit if you want to explore the energetic nightlife of the garden city. One of the biggest and most beautiful microbreweries in Bangalore, Hoot is a perfect place to unwind and get into the party mood.  Spread over a large area, it has 3 floors out of which one is exclusively for corporate events. Despite having a huge Seating capacity of 900, this place is always crowded with people waiting to get a table especially on weekends. Located quite far on Sarjapur Road but it is worth the drive.

Ambiance- Truly Amazing. Spectacular outdoor seating amidst nature with greenery and water. There are square ponds all around filled with fish and  palm trees swaying gently. The design and layout is commendable and indeed offers a much appreciated escape to a pleasant world from the mundane daily work life. Exuberant Atmosphere with loud Music and DJ playing.  Lovely open bar counter. Nice backdrop. Live screening of IPL is great. Colourful chairs and benches. Indoor seating is classy and elegant.  Comfortable sofas and superb arrangement. Marvellous Lighting.  Exquisite artefacts like Bikes, Phone booth, wall hangings etc for decoration. Balcony seating provides a mesmerizing view in the evening. (8.5/10)

Food- Impressive Presentation. Slush based mocktails were splendid and refreshing. Multhani Fish was remarkable. It was marinated well and grilling in tandoor enhanced the taste. Fusli Pesto Pasta was phenomenal. All credits to the pesto cream sauce. Chicken Potli Takatak that is essentially stuffed fried wontons was brilliant. Prawns Tempura was excellent as batter imparted crunchiness. Oreo cheesecake Dessert was incredible. Gulshan Ki Paneer was fantastic. Hot Pot Lamb Chops was succulent with an Outstanding flavour. However Crackling spinach was terrible. Noodles were Average. Till Baby corn was nothing exceptional. Fresh Fokasiya Sandwich was ordinary. (7/10)

Service- Exemplary. Wonderful welcome and hospitality. Reservation required. Valet Parking Provided. Well trained, Courteous and efficient staff. Nevertheless, it is a little slow and a bit unorganised. (7/10)

Pricing- Moderately High. Slightly expensive. Though not very pocket friendly, rates are in par with competitors.  A sumptuous meal and Delightful Experience Overall. (6/10)
