One can never get enough of lohei. Not only you start the new year auspiciously, and yusheng tasted yummy with so many sweet and sour ingredients. The accompaniment is also what I’m looking forward to for every lohei session. The culinary team at these various restaurants never fails to give us something new to welcome the year of Earth pig. You can expect special ingredients including Smoked Kurobuta, Crispy Fried Vermicelli, Bak Kwa, Kumquat Sauce and more!

There are many lohei sayings to shout for good luck and fortune besides all-time favourite “Huat Ah!” which means get rich and lucky. If you get bored of the usual “Huat Ah!”, here are 17 lucky lohei sayings to impress your parents, relatives, loved ones and friends.
