Paddy Hills | All-You-Can-Eat Special Buffet On Every 1st Week Of The Month

Media Tasting at Paddy Hills

Paddy Hills is an Australian Contemporary Cafe located in between Pasir Panjang and Haw Par Villa MRT stations. It is about 15 to 20 mins walking distance from either MRT stations.

It would be a legit reason to walk even though there are buses to get there because Paddy Hills is having an All-You-Can-Eat Special Buffet for only S$58+/pax! This buffet would only be available on every 1st week of the month as of 7th Dec 2018.

After trying out everything on the menu except for the Chocolate Fountain with an assortment of various fruits and sweets, there were definitely a couple of outstanding dishes that were worth the highlight that night.

I admit that their Ma La Xiang Guo did not catch my attention at first just because the serving did not look too sharing-friendly. After trying a mouth, I was addicted to it. The potato noodles were silky smooth, coated thoroughly with the robust ma la flavor, low to mid spiciness with the numbness that kicked in right in the end. Topped with meatballs and lotus chips!

PH Salted Egg Yolk Wings was a dish I would love to have without the need to share. You can keep reordering it since it was a buffet! The wings were towards the XL in size, moist and juicy, freshly fried in crispy batter before having a douse of salted egg yolk paste coating on.

I wasn’t expecting Confit Abalone with Smoke Salt to be in the menu. How often do you actually get to see abalones being part of a buffet? The baby abalones were served with their shells on, with smoke salt to enhance its taste.

With 2 steak dishes and other meat dishes on the menu, no harm having a couple of Barbequed Baby Pineapples for a tangy refreshing cleanse of the palate before continuing your meal.

If you are a fan of seafood, why not go for their Wok Fried Clams in Chilli Crab Sauce? A lack of crispiness but to prevent the delicious sauce from going to waste.

Other seafood dishes such as Oysters with grape bubble, Thai Top Shell Salad, Mentaiko Toast, and Shrimp Roll could satisfy seafood lovers.

Last but not least, my favourite dessert would be the Homemade Double Fudge Brownie served with beer milkshake. It was my first time having a beer milkshake. Milky and easy to drink with the mild beer aftertaste. The brownie was almost like a lava cake with semi molten interior of melted chocolate. I had to stop myself from exceeding my sinful limit.
