Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges Blue Mountains Review

Secluded accommodation spots are what we definitely need if we want to escape the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s busy street. Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges perfectly reflects the tranquil atmosphere in Blue Mountain. We have decided to stay in the loft room located on the top floor of each garden cottage. I like the private entrance and staircase. Somehow I feel I can walk a couple of flights of steps makes it feel like I did my workout for the day! Just kidding!!

Head up to an open plan style room with raked ceilings with views looking out onto a reflecting pool with the greenery. Much appreciated after a long day exploring the Blue Mountain with Sealy Posturepedic Dynasty Series king size bed. The clean crisp sheets and perfectly tucked duvet covers that beckons you to snuggle in immediately. The mattress has a plush feel and delivers an exceptional level of support for body recovery at night.

Sometimes I do enjoy watching Foxtel when all the shops are closed for the day. If you have noticed, there is an ornate gas fireplace just below LED TV. I would have enjoyed more if the LED TV is placed at eye level.

An ergonomic workspace at a corner where my boyfriend can work anytime.

Opening the closet, there is a laptop-sized safe, bathrobes, slippers, ironing facilities and hairdryer.

The mini bar got everything covered from coke to beer to wine. Asides to the standard tea and coffee making facilities, I have also spotted standard essential teaware with a bamboo whisk, fine enough for tea connoisseurs.

Spacious modern bathroom with nice washing basin, comfy towels, Appelles bathroom amenities and a separate shower area.

So you’re in a hotel room, and you’re bored. What to do? The grounds are lovely for a stroll or taking OOTD. I absolutely loved the cleanliness and fresh air of the garden.

If you are a yogi, the fresh air is sure to shift your perspective in positive ways. Wished there is a yoga mat!

There’s no better way to start the day than with a hearty breakfast and gorgeous view of the ground. We had breakfast and it was tasty! Comparable to the nice eggs cafe in Sydney. Pick a menu item as well as the buffet with slices of bread, cereal, fresh fruits with choice of tea/coffee. I was pleasantly surprised that the latte comes with latte art too.

Felt welcome at Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges with nice and courteous staff. The hotel staff strikes the right balance offering warm hospitality whilst keeping an element of privacy for guests. Room was new, fresh and nicely serviced. Much appreciated that wifi is speedy despite in the mountains.

– We paid for our accommodation.
