These Indian TV Shows are Giving Us ‘Larger Than Life’ Feeling With Their Fashion Quotient!

Gone are the days when Indian TV shows used to be a low budget production affair and ‘Larger than Life’ feeling was only derived from Karan Johar’s films. Cut to today there are TV actors who are earning more than some of the successful film actors.  The overall look and feel of the Hindi television shows have become magnanimous.

TV actors are far more fashionable. They have a huge fan following too on social networking websites like Instagram and Facebook. This is the reason why many top brands, fashion designers, and film stars are opting for promotions while becoming a part of these Indian TV shows. As a result, the richness is bound to reflect in these shows.

Here are some of these Indian TV shows that are giving us ‘Larger than Life’ feel with their fashion extravaganza:

  • Ishqbaaz

The story of three rich and famous brothers was meant to be a gala affair right from the first episode. Ishqbaaz has Nakul Mehta (playing the role of Shivaay Singh Oberoi) & Surbhi Chandna as the eldest among the three lead pairs. For every occasion be it the wedding functions or a festival, the entire family is seen in color & theme coordinated clothes.  Be it flaunting the off shoulder crop top with ethnic skirts and sarees to using trendy jewelry like Afghani jewelry, lace chokers, floral chokers and more.

The fashion quo of the show is increased further as Nakul, Leenesh & look dapper in Indian ethnic wear.

Maya’s character (portrayed by Jenifer Winget) is a business woman who knows no boundary when it comes to love for Arjun. Jenifer was seen is suave get up with an all-white wardrobe business clothes initially which created a style statement in itself.  As this Indian TV show progressed, her overall styling in the show created the much-needed oomph on the Indian Television.

  • Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is a show where the festival celebrations are so beautifully depicted that even a nonbeliever would have a feel to celebrate the fest. After Akshara’s (Hina Khan) exit & the show’s time leap, the story shifted to the new lead couple – Naira & Kartik.

The show’s fashion quo increases every time there is a festival celebration or wedding shown in it. From flaunting the seedhe pallu Marwari drape saris to one piece dresses and then the beautiful cape dresses of Naira, the fashion stylist here is doing a fabulous job.

  • Tu Sooraj, Main Chaand Piyaji

Tu Sooraj Main Chain Piyaji

Though it is age old, established ethnic attire still in today’s modern times and seeing the beautiful Rhea Sharma (Kanak) & Avinesh Rekhi makes it look even extraordinary.

  • Pehredaar Piya Ki

‘Pehredaar Piya ki’ the new show on Sony TV has drawn a lot of negativity because of its concept. But if one sees the prettier side of the show is Tejaswee Prakash, the leading lady of the show. True to what her baalam choto sa (young husband) says about her looks is that she indeed looks like a fairy in the show get up!

  • Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3

This Indian TV show is still a new comer but dashing Barun Sobti, gorgeous Shivani Tomar & Ritu Shivpuri starrer show has already bagged mix reviews for the show’s styling. The female leads are dressed rather a little flamboyantly.

But Barun (Advay Singh Raizada in the show) looks hot while experimenting with different kinds of a formal suit, Pathani suit, harem pants teamed with a waist coat and more. His rugged look is the talk of the town!
