The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
2013 Guafengzhai by Wymm Tea
I was intrigued to see Cwyn of Cwyn’s Death by Tea write about a tea from a company whose name I had not seen mentioned in a long time. They seemed to have fallen off the map recently but I remember their teas fondly, especially their special mulberry puerh wrappers.
Let’s Talk Tea | Tee Aus Nepal – Organic Nepalese Green Tea | Review
Kimberly from Tea is a Wish Your Heart Makes gave her impressions on a full-bodied green tea from Nepal. The teas from this region are under appreciated so it was nice to see one being featured. Her notes really made me want to give this tea a try.
Books to Look Forward to in 2021
AJ from Tea Stacks is always on the lookout for the latest tea reads (and is often responsible for my growing library). In this post, they give us several upcoming titles to look forward to. I’m particularly excited about the book dedicated to Japan’s tea history with America.
2021 January White2tea Club feat. Exclusive 2020 Amalgamation of Capitol
I am not usually a fan of shou puerh but this offering from the White2Tea club was a surprise hit for me. Char from Oolong Owl shared her thoughts about it on her blog this week. Her tasting notes of dark, rich, and sweet definitely sums it up perfectly.
Rare Tea Company’s Flowering Silver Tip White Tea | Tea Review
Connie from Tea in Spoons reviewed a flowering white tea. As she discovered, these can be quite tricky to brew without the tea getting too bitter but they certainly do put on a show. Check out the lovely GIF of the leaves unfurling in her glass pitcher!
