How to Love with Food

From Half Year to the End of 2017 choose some food flavoured loving…

Happy Half Year to our Foodie Friends.

There’s still 183 days to go and if you’re stuck for ways to make someone feel special, here are some suggestions we think  might help. Look through our list of foodie ways to celebrate Love, life and healthiness in June and beyond.

But don’t take our word for it, try it and see.

June
Its June, the sun is shining and its London Food Month. You could celebrate by visiting food markets and tasting London’s international cuisine and if you can’t enjoy the delights of summer outdoors, why not stay indoors at a sushi class with  Greenwich Pantry. We’ve got our team waiting to kickstart your love for London’s favourite Japanese export and many other culinary delights.
July
Write your favourite recipe on a nice rice card or paper for a lasting kitchen memorabilia. Even better, teach it to the person you love and eat it in the warmth of your home or out in the sunshine.
August
A jar of good quality nut butter, heritage honey, preserves are lovely gifts that live on and on…and you’ll find something in our shop.
September
Learn to cook a delicious simple but nutritious meal you can replicate for friends and family once a week. Start planning for the festive season by learning  a range of delicious recipes.
October
Give a voucher to a best friend to spend in a local coffee shop or buy this month’s coffee for a friend.
November
Buy someone you really love seasonal vegetables for a month from a local delivery service. Shop for fresh produce at RARE Farmer’s market and pick some seasonal vegetables to keep you nourished in the winter months.  Alternatively, make a date with someone and go foraging with them, just for the heck of it!
December
Finally it’s December again and if you didn’t manage any of our suggestions, don’t forget…life is a series of little steps that often blossoms with simple things like a smile to brighten up a strangers day.Perfect for a cold December morning.
Here’s to life and health!
