Le' Ambience

So many stalls to patronise :)

I was attracted by their nostalgic décor which resembled the Malaysian Food Street located in Resorts World Sentosa.

Penang Char Kway Teow (SGD4.00 and above)

Le' Char Kuay Teow Stall

It seems like the most popular stall is the stall selling Penang Fried Kway Teow (Char Kway Teow 炒粿条). I queued for a good 20 minutes for a small plate of this fried flat noodles!

I was pretty impressed about the presentation of the food - the receptacles used were really nostalgic and reminded me of my grandparents' era. Also, I realised that they served drinks in the traditional fashion - in a tin mug :)

The Penang version of the fried noodles tasted very different from the local style as no sweet sauce is used to fry the noodles. I think I still prefer the local way of preparing this dish somehow although this version was pretty well-fried.

Penang Road's Famous Chendol (SGD2.00)

Penang Road's Famous Chendol

I decided to try the Chendol for desserts as it looked really traditional and old school ~

The Chendol tasted pretty decent though :)

Overall

I am rather pleased with my dining experience there and will definitely revisit this place again to try out other stalls :)

Also, I do look forward to trying the Klang Bak Kut Teh as well as the Laksa Stall as they looked really great when I saw other diners having them.
