It gives me good feeling when my students get excited about writing their essays. Today we continued our lesson on how to write a problem-solution essay and the students are pumped to get started. After today’s lesson they started brainstorming what problems they wanted to write about and possible solutions to those problems.

Students began bringing their ideas to me and I gave them some direction about fine-tuning their definitions of the problems they want to address and focusing their solutions. The fact that they can’t wait to share their ideas is awesome.
