In case you missed it the other day I made my own butter from scratch. I couldn't believe how simple it was to make at home and I will definitely be making it again.
When making butter you get left with buttermilk. This can be used in baking to make sauces and in cooking. One thing I wanted to try why was making buttermilk chicken.
If you marinate the chicken in the bottom milk for 6 hours it helps to make it extra tender. Most buttermilk chicken is cooked in a deep fat fryer so I wanted to make something crispy in an air fryer. Of course you could cook it in the oven instead too.
