Sometimes there is nothing better than a delicious pasta dinner. It's a real comfort food to me and I really enjoy every mouthful. This post was super popular on Instagram and loads of you wanted the recipe! So here it is!

 Garlic Chicken & Prosciutto Pasta Bake Recipe

You will need:


400g diced skinless Chicken breast
1 tsp Italian herbs
1 garlic clove, minced
3 slices of prosciutto ham, in small slices
1 red pepper, sliced
1 onion finely diced
1 carton of passata
Pinch salt and pepper
400g dried pasta
40g extra light cheddar cheese per quarter

Method:


Preheat oven to gas mark 6, 200°C, fan 180°C

Spray a frying pan with low calorie cooking spray. Add the onions and peppers and stir fry, then removed and set aside when cooked.

Turn the heat to medium. Sprinkle the diced chicken with the Italian herbs. and garlic. Fry off and seal.

Meanwhile, par boil the pasta as per packet instructions.

Add the passata, salt, and pepper to the chicken in the pan, and turn off the heat. Then add the slices of Prosciutto.

Drain the cooked pasta and pour into a large oven proof dish.  Top with the passata, chicken and mix and stir until everything is mixed well.

Top with cheese then bake for 20 mins, or until cheese is bubbling.
