Homemade Chicken Tikka Pizza Recipe : Step by Step Pictures

Summers are on; this deep heat is burning my skin although I am trying to beat it with cold drinks in this hot weather. This Pizza which I am going to share; I baked it probably few weeks ago. As it's already known its not only a kid friendly recipe, but admired by adults too. It do come in many varieties and trends. I love the Pizza Fajita and Tikka Pizza most. I have already done with Pizza Fajita which was a guest post for Aara's Blog already shared. You may find a full recipe of Chicken Fajita Pizza here..
Making Pizza is more than a fun for me, with a layers of chicken, veggies and shredded cheese. It's easy like piece of a cake for me, practised a lot on many Pizza recipes. If you want to make your own adequate pizza just go for a right recipe, and implement straight away into your kitchen. I am sure everyone at your home is going to like that. Trust me try this one this is one of the best recipe you should try it once especially for those who want a spicy kick to their pizzas:

HOME MADE CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA:
This recipe is enough for about 6 to 8 members; ingredients you will need given step by step as follows;
For Chicken Tikka Masala:
  • Chicken Boneless 0.5 kg
  • 1/2 tsp of Ginger + Garlic Paste
  • 0.5 tsp of red chilli flakes
  • 1/4 tsp of mixture of all spices / Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp of Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 tsp of White Cumin seeds (safaid Zeera) in powder form
  • Pinch of Orange Color / Zarda Rang
  • Pinch of Cardamom Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup of Yoghurt
  • a small piece of Coal (for genuine taste of tikka)
  • Couple layers of onion
  • Oil
For Pizza Dough:
  • 1 kg all-purpose Flour
  • 4 tbsp of Powdered Milk
  • 1 tbsp of Sugar
  • 1 tsp of Yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 tbsp of Vegetable Oil
  • Warm Water
  • 40 to 50 grams of Butter
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt (to taste)
For Tomato Sauce:
  • 1/2 kg of Tomato (make a paste out of it)
  • 1 tsp of Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of Oregano
  • 1 tsp of Vegetable Oil
For topping: (as required)
  • Green Capsicum in julienne
  • Onions in Julienne
  • Olives
  • Mushrooms
  • Tomatoes
  • 1 cup or more shredded Cheese - for perfect results use both (Mozzarella + Cheddar)/Pizza Cheese alone
  • 1 egg for brushing crust ends
Procedure to be followed:
Step 1: For making Pizza Dough, knead all together the ingredients with a warm water. Set it for 4 to 5 hours in a warm place; wait until it rises.

Step 2: Marinate the boneless chicken with all the spices and ingredients together for an hour at least. Shallow fry the chicken pieces. Place the fried chicken pieces in a deep pan. For giving it a traditional restaurant smell to tikkas, fire up a coal, immediately place it on few layers of onion with a few drops of oil on a coal and cover the lid. Leave it for some time till the pieces catch the smoky aroma.

Step 3: For making a Pizza tomato sauce, little sauté the garlic paste then tomato paste then sugar, salt and oregano. Mix it well. Switch off the flame, mix it well.

Step 4: Meanwhile; pre-heat your oven up to 180 degrees Centigrade.

Step 5: Your dough is almost double in size, knead it again. You can use rolling pin; place it over the 9 inch Pizza Pan leaving almost 1/2 inch of thickness. Size is optional all depends on you; plus if you want a thin crust cut down some dough and make it thin crust almost 1/4 inch of thickness.

Step 6: Here comes the most fascinating part of mine; the Layers : Tomato sauce then veggies then the shredded Cheese. Brush the egg at the end of the crust. You can sprinkle some red chilli flakes too for more spicy flavour; completely optional.

Step 7: Bake it for about 15 to 20 minutes till the dough is completely baked. Check your cheese it should give you a magnificent golden colour. Enjoy it with some Chilli Garlic Sauce I do recommend it tastes like heaven.

When I was done with Pizza; found my husband repairing his lappy toppy on my dining, lolx. Didn't find place for my pizza, decided to settle down on a messy dining with his tools and accessories. Meanwhile my husband just left everything as it is and rushed to our meal. He just loved the way I baked Pizza. I am sure you will love this cheesy easy peasy Pizza. Do try let me know the results. I would be so glad if you are going to try it. Have a great time. Love you all from Monu Teena
