HONOLULU | Maui Brewing Co. was founded in 2005, and today is the largest craft brewery in Hawaii. They’re based in Maui, with taprooms in several locations across Hawaii. In Honolulu, the best place to try Maui’s beers is at their Waikiki taproom, located in the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger.

It’s a large, open-air, family-friendly space with lots of natural sunlight. Across the 36 taps you’ll find Maui’s core range and limited release beers, as well as guest beers from other independent craft breweries. Tasting paddles are available for you to mix and match six beers of your choice.

Try the ‘Big Swell’, a 6.8% ABV dry hopped IPA with big tropical citrus notes. Also try the ‘Coconut Hiwa Porter’, a 6.0% ABV robust dark ale with hand-toasted coconut & hints of mocha.

If you’re not a beer drinker, there’s an extensive selection of wine, spirits, and cocktails available. To eat, it’s American bar food classics with Hawaiian influences. Think pizzas, burgers, and wings.
