Beef patties are marinated in W & M’s house BBQ sauce, before being grilled over open flames. The signature “Royal Hamburger” is a simply a beef patty with a slice of American cheese, tomato, lettuce, and onion inside a soft bun. The dressing is a light dollop of their combo mayo, mustard, ketchup and relish. It’s a simple burger, that hits all of the right notes.

The fries are again a matter of getting the basics right. Crispy, salty, and bang on. My only regret is that I didn’t get there early enough to try the cult favourite Crab Flavoured Macaroni salad.
