Edinburgh Beer Festival

Following on from the sold-out success of last year’s event, the capital will once again play host to the Craft Beer Revolution Festival from the 23rd – 25th November at the Roxy Assembly venue. This year, the event is taking on a decidedly international flavour, with craft breweries from Ireland, Wales, France, Germany and Norway all pouring their beers for festival goers.

The festival, which was founded in 2016 by two beer-loving friends from Leith who wanted to showcase the quality of beers being made in Scotland, aims to offer something for both craft beer enthusiasts and novices alike. The line-up of breweries for this year’s event includes Ireland’s Trouble Brewing, local favourites Pilot, Stewart’s and Cross Borders, as well as international craft beer heavyweights Stone Brewing from Berlin, Germany.

Speaking about the forthcoming festival, co-founder Richard Servranckx said: ‘Craft beer is all about people coming together to enjoy quality beer, so we’re very happy to be bringing so many craft breweries from abroad to this year’s festival, as it will give people the chance to drink great beers that they simply can’t buy anywhere else in Scotland. We want to build on the success of last year’s event and continue to build our festival’s reputation as Scotland’s best celebration of craft beer.’
