For the first time ever, event organisers of the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert – Edinburgh International Festival and Scottish Chamber Orchestra – are offering special picnic packages which can be pre-ordered by ticket holders and enjoyed on the night. Each picnic serves two and there are three packages to choose from – a meat, vegetarian  or dessert option. The picnics are designed and produced in partnership with the Little Picnic Co.

The Virgin Money Fireworks Concert is one of Edinburgh’s favourite annual events, bringing together friends and families to celebrate the grand finale of Edinburgh’s summer festival season, this year taking place on Monday 28 August. Each August thousands of spectators gathering in Princes Street Gardens to enjoy the spectacular event, which sees over 400,000 fireworks choreographed to live orchestral music from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra light up the sky over the unique backdrop of Edinburgh’s iconic Castle.
