Why am I in a Mood?

Is it just me or have you been feeling in a funk or a Mood for the last few weeks? If so, welcome to the club! I feel like I have no motivation to do anything. All I want to do is nothing. I have blog work I can be doing a well as, other work to get done. You know what, I have been doing nothing because I cannot find the motivation to do anything. This is not the first time this has happened to me so that gives me hope! I love being real with you all and telling you that you are not alone! So let me take the time to tell you what I have learned from my bad days:

It’s okay to be Emotional

I am such an emotional person lol, it’s something I am learning to cope with. Our emotions are something we can and can’t control. Our hormones and our environment have a major effect on our emotions. Which is why some days you are in the best mood and then others you don’t want to talk to anyone. You know what it’s perfectly normal!!! Emotions are a big part of our life, they are what make us Human. This leads me to my next point.

We are Only Human

That’s right we are not perfect! We are all on our own path learning about who we are because we are constantly evolving! Getting into a funk is just part of it, not every day can be sunshine and rainbows. Just be yourself, live a little, and just be a human!!! Don’t dwell on where you are right now because life is pretty freakin short. Be in the moment now and learn from it.

Give Yourself some Slack

So you didn’t do everything you wanted to do today, you know what? That’s okay!!!!! Trust me I beat myself up constantly when I don’t do everything I wanted to get done. Do you think that helps my mood? NOOOOO lol, it makes it worse. Lazy days are important to help your body reset. That one day can sometimes turn into two or three or even a week, it depends on how long you need. Just remember to shift your mindset from thinking “ugh I am so lazy” to “I need to reset”. With this being said don’t make it a habit or you will really get stuck in a rut!

Take the Time you Need

Do you ever think the reason you are in this mood is that you’ve been doing too much? If that’s the case your body is telling you to take a break. For me personally, I’ve been unmotivated because I keep forgetting about my goals and dreams. I have been so focused on not knowing what is coming up that I forget where I am is important. That’s why I’m taking this time to find myself again and realize what I want!

Take the Pressure off

I’ll be the first to say it I put a lot of pressure on myself like wayyyy too much!! When things don’t go the way I was hoping I get disappointed and upset. Totally normal I know but still not good which is why I am working on it. Right now A LOT is not going my way but instead of being upset with it, I am TRYING to take the pressure off! Which I recommend for you. Take the pressure off and realize again you are ONLY HUMAN!!!

If you are in a mood right now just know it’s normal and say it with me “YOU ARE ONLY HUMAN”!!! Of course, there are things you have to get done so do them but DO NOT get upset when you don’t get to the extra thing you wanted to get done. Nobody is perfect and everyone has lazy unproductive days or just bad mood days! Hate to tell you but this won’t be the last time this happens. Embrace who you are and how far you have come in life! It will get better but know you are not alone!

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.
