Grand Christmas trees, holiday décor, Christmas songs, intercity traffic and mall-wide sales... 'Tis only a few of the things that make Christmas in the Philippines feel more real than ever! And while the -ber months may have started the build up, it's a little surreal how months, weeks and days easily passed. Now, there's only 20 more days left before Christmas! ヽ(･ω･ゞ)

December may be the busiest month of the year. There are family gatherings, barkada reunions and company parties on top of getting all our Christmas shopping done. And if you're like me who waits a little while before getting started on your Christmas shopping, it can get a little crazy! Mall crowds are at its worst, and more so with traffic.

And if by now you still haven't started your Christmas gift shopping, then check out my list of gift ideas for your girl friends. 'Cause hey, it's better to brave in the Christmas rush with a plan than scouring the whole mall to get ideas on what to gift your mom, sister, best friend, female co-worker, etc.

Cosmetics

Or makeup you think they might like. It's thoughtful to gift your girl friend cosmetics that they regularly use, or something they've always wanted. Whether it be a bold red lipstick, a cream blush, or even a set of soft synthetic brushes, it's nice to look out for your friend's makeup interest. It saves her the expense, and she might just discover a new holy grail too!

Beauty & Wellness Box

I'm not sure with you, but my friends and I have always found DIY gift sets really exciting. So instead of grabbing a boxed set of bath essentials from the store, why not build one yourself? Your friend will surely find it more thoughtful too. You can build a box with beauty and wellness essentials like mine, or customize it to suit the person you're gifting it to. You can even build a PMS (premenstrual syndrome) box, a skincare for sensitive skin box, travel essentials box. Let your creativity and knowledge (of your friend's interests) be the limit.

Tea Time (or Coffee) Set

If your girl friend loves tea, gifting her a new tea set or anything tea related, will be very much appreciated. I know, 'cause I am one! Don't worry if your friend has tons of tea pots, tea cups, tea leaves and tea bags. A new addition to her collection will surely make her happy of your gift. The same thing goes for coffee lovers! Gift them a new coffee mug and a pack of whole or ground roasted coffee beans, or even GCs to cafes. We really don't understand the concept of having too much. v(°∇^*)⌒☆

Artisanal Goodies

While food is always welcome as a gift, giving an artisanal goodie will be more appreciated. Apart from being more special either in quality, taste or concept, your friend will surely find it more interesting as it's not something easily found and bought in malls and major stores. It can be quite convenient too since most artisanal food items can be ordered online (mostly Facebook and Instagram) and are available for delivery (through courier)!

Juice Cleanse Kits

This might be a little tricky, since fresh cold-pressed juices have shorter shelf life. But if you'll gift this to someone you share your home with, a neighbor, or a co-worker, this can work and will be a really good surprise! If your friend or loved one is keen on trying to be healthy, then help them get started! And if she's already jumpstarted her journey, then even better!

Quirky Fashion Items

If you really know the person you'll be gifting, it will be a no brainer to pick out a statement shirt for her. More so if she's a cat lover, 'cause cat fashion items are all over shops! ω(=＾・＾=)ω

Organic Home Products

Some might not be into home products, but there are many who are. Perfect for homemakers, gifting them organic and eco-friendly products might not just be beneficial to the environment but also for the whole household's health and wellness. 'Cause hey, even the skeptics might just fall in love with a soothing and sleep-improving room and linen spray!

I only have 7 on this list, but I hope I was able to somehow help give you an idea or inspiration on what to get the girls in your life. These are only general gift ideas, by the way. So you can tailor your gift you the person you're gifting it too.

And if you still don't know what to get your mom, aunt, sister, best friend, co-worker, and all them girls, then just remember that it's best to gift them something they want, something they need, or both.
