Is the Breatharian Diet Really Possible?

Breatharianism is the belief that you can survive on just air, sunlight, and prana. It’s a philosophy that has roots in India and is believed to have been practiced for thousands of years.
Many breatherians claim to have been living on just air, prana, and light for decades or even centuries. Nevertheless, many breatherians have been found dead, which is a disturbing fact.
The founder of the Breatharian Diet, Wiley Brooks, claimed to have been breatharian for thirty years and was able to live without food for a decade. He also claimed to have been John the Baptist in a former life. This is a story that has changed through the years.
Some breatherians have created exceptions to the rules of Breatharianism. Akahi Ricardo and Camila Castello are two people who claim to have successfully survived on nothing but air, sunlight, and “universe’s energy.”
Another famous breatherian, Audra Bear, claims to have lived on just liquids and smoothies for 97 days. She also says that food and drink get in the way of enjoying life.
Some breatherians believe that they have been able to survive without food for several years, while others claim to have been on a hunger strike for months or even years. Most breatherians encourage their followers to adopt a pranic lifestyle, which involves breathing in the energies of the earth, air, and nature.
One breatharian couple, Akahi Ricardo and Camila, have lived on just air and sunlight for three years. They eat fruit or vegetable broth three times a week.
Others have been rumored to have been on the Breatharian Diet. However, the majority have not been able to complete the program.
In the end, Breatharianism is not a diet but rather a cult. While it may be true that some breatherians claim to have been able to survive on just air, sunshine, and prana for a long period of time, the dangers involved in such a lifestyle are high. Moreover, the risk of a serious illness or death is not too far off.
Although breatharianism has not yet proven itself as a viable alternative, it continues to attract new followers.

Is the Breatharian Diet a Cult?

The Breatharian diet isn’t your typical diet. It’s more of a cult practice. And it’s a dangerous one. As a matter of fact, the Breatharian movement has caused several deaths.
The idea of going completely without food has been around for centuries. But the modern-day Breatharian movement is based on a more forgiving approach. Unlike the 1980s Breatharians, current members of the Breatharian cult don’t feel the need to force followers to eat regular foods. Instead, they encourage them to consume small amounts of food throughout the week.
When Michelle Pfeiffer first came to Hollywood, she was hoping to be a successful actress. But instead of succeeding, she was drawn into a cult of Breatharians. This cult convinced Pfeiffer that she would become a spiritually enlightened person by not eating.
In an interview in 2013, Scarface actress Michelle Pfeiffer revealed that she had been a member of a Breatharian cult. She said that she was introduced to the group by a “controlling” couple when she was still young.
According to Pfeiffer, the cult believed that breatharians were the highest form of spirituality. They believed that they could live a life of eternal bliss on nitrogen in the air and that the earth was a sulfur-filled planet that humans would soon leave.
Brooks was the founder of the Breatharian Institute of America in Larkspur, California. He claimed that he had never eaten for 18 years. And he encouraged his followers to only eat foods with special “5D” properties.
He also claimed that one of his special breathing techniques was effective at kicking an eating habit. However, he later admitted that he had eaten for quite some time.
Eventually, the Breatharian Institute moved locations. It’s now in Bellevue, Washington. A couple that claims to be members of the Breatharian cult – Akahi Ricardo and Camila Castello – claim to have not eaten for over three years.
The Breatharian cult has become so complex that its website is actually confusing to navigate. If you are thinking about joining the cult, be aware of its dangers.

Can the Breatharian Diet Transform Your Life?

Breatharians believe that their lives depend on prana, the life energy of the universe. They believe that they are nourished by prana, not food, and they do not drink water.
According to many supporters, Breatharianism is a way to solve our problem of food shortages. However, a number of Breatharians have died. One such case is Verity Linn, an Australian woman who was found dead in Scotland’s Highlands in 1999.
Other cases of Breatharians have died from starvation and dehydration. The Breatharian diet, also known as inedia, is not healthy for the human body. It creates a calorie deficit that leads to weight loss and a weakened body.
A recent study showed that the average human requires between 1,400 and 1,600 calories a day to maintain optimal health. During a breatharian fast, only about 150 to 200 calories are consumed. This lack of calories causes the body to use up reserves. When this happens, the tissues and organs of the body suffer. Eventually, the body breaks down the fatty acids in the liver and produces by-products called ketone bodies.
Some prominent Breatharians give the impression that they don’t eat. Others claim that they eat just a few times a week, but their diets can be dangerous.
Several breatharian gurus encourage their followers to meditate, practice yoga, and consume small amounts of food throughout the week. Their followers should start out by eating fruits, then move to raw foods, and eventually convert to veganism.
Among the prominent breatharians are Hira Ratan Manek and Jasmuheen McGregor. Both are known to travel the world giving lectures. Many have compared breatharianism to cults.
Some followers may be happy with their lifestyle, but there are reports of serious mental and physical harm. Breatharians have even been accused of intentionally lying about their diets. Despite these claims, Breatharianism is still a popular way of living. Fortunately, there are several organizations that have been set up to address the problem.
While Breatharianism can be a dangerous and risky practice, it is not the only option. Some people have successfully survived with water and no food for a few weeks.

Is the Breatharian Diet Real or Just a Hoax?

The Breatharian diet is a controversial diet that has been linked to several deaths. This is a diet that is based on the belief that humans can survive on only Prana or the energy that is around them. These gurus encourage meditation, breathing exercises, and yoga to prepare one’s body for life without food.
In the early 1990s, a woman named Jasmuheen, who was based in the United Kingdom, became a proponent of Breatharianism. She wrote numerous books on the subject and appeared in many movies. However, her claims were questioned when she started losing weight and started showing signs of dehydration.
Another breatharian, Timo Degen, died at the age of 31 after he had spent three weeks fasting. He learned about breatharianism on the Internet in 1997.
Another Breatharian couple, Akahi Ricardo and Camila Castello, claim to have been living on fruit or vegetable broth for three times a week since 2008. They are convinced that the earth has an abundance of energy and human beings are not consuming it.
A few years ago, an Australian television program followed one breatharian for a week. It was reported that the breatharian began to show signs of dehydration after a few days of fasting.
Breatharianism is a fringe philosophy and has been in the news before. In the past few years, more forgiving breatharianism has emerged. Many breatharian gurus advise followers to eat a small amount of food over a period of two to three weeks before slowly tapering down the diet.
There is some evidence to suggest that the Breatharian diet is not actually a diet at all. In fact, it is a cult practice. Some gurus have even been caught eating food.
Many breatharians also claim that their bodies have been reprogrammed to live on air and light. But the question is, are these people truly healthy? Besides, if you want to avoid starvation, you need to be eating at least 2,400 calories a day.
If you have been tempted by the Breatharian diet, please consider all the facts before making the decision to give up food. As with any fad, it is important to be aware of the risks and dangers.
