For example, a pig will dig for roots and fruit. Similarly, a human’s intestinal tract is approximately 20 times the length of its trunk.
In general, omnivores are considered opportunistic feeders because they consume whatever is available. However, some omnivores, such as giraffes, are highly selective in what they eat. They prefer Commiphora trees, Terminalia shrubs, and grass.
During a study, the authors found that vegetarians had a more positive view of the environment and were more open to new experiences than omnivores. Vegetarians are based on universalism and self-direction.
