Paramount Fine Foods History
Mohamad Fakih CM is an entrepreneur and philanthropist with Lebanese and Canadian roots. Through his nonprofit organization, the Fakih Foundation, Fakih serves the community and does humanitarian work. He is the founder of Paramount Fine Foods, a network of Middle Eastern restaurants. He was bestowed the Order of Canada in 2022.
Almost bankrupt in 2006, Fakih bought a shawarma joint in Mississauga. Over the next decade, that investment blossomed into a thriving restaurant business. The chain of family-friendly restaurants serves traditional Middle Eastern fare and has kid-friendly entertainment. With its headquarters in Mississauga, Canada, the company runs on a franchise concept.
