A 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake was felt in the American state of Alaska on Sunday morning.
The U.S. Seismological Center had initially estimated the depth of the earthquake at 9.3 kilometers and the magnitude at 7.4, but later changed it.
It was later reported that the depth of the earthquake was 32.6 km while its magnitude was 7.2.
A tsunami warning was issued by the US Tsunami Warning System for nearby areas after the earthquake, but was later withdrawn.
The Alaska Seismological Center said strong tremors were felt in the Aleutian Islands, but no immediate casualties were reported.
According to the Seismological Center, very few people are likely to be affected by this earthquake as the population in these areas is negligible.
Keep in mind that earthquakes often occur in this area of Alaska.
