Looking for a healthy, delicious dessert option that's quick and easy to make?

Look no further than air fryer baked apples! This simple recipe will satisfy your sweet tooth without any of the guilt.

Why use an Air Fryer for baked apples?

Not only is it a healthier option than traditional frying or baking methods, but it also cooks the apples quickly and evenly, resulting in a perfectly tender and caramelized dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or Pink Lady work well)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.

Core the apples and slice them into thin wedges.

In a bowl, mix together the chopped walnuts, raisins, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Add the sliced apples to the bowl and toss until the apples are evenly coated with the mixture.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Arrange the coated apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Air fry the apples for 10-12 minutes or until they are tender and lightly browned. Check on them halfway through and give them a shake or stir to ensure even cooking.

Serve the baked apples hot, with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, if desired.

This recipe is not only delicious but also healthy and customizable.

Feel free to swap out the nuts or fruit for your favorites or adjust the amount of syrup and spices to your liking. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a dessert to impress your guests, air fryer baked apples are sure to be a hit.
