La Piazza History
The Italian restaurant La Piazza is the crown jewel of Okada Manila. In an effort to create, if not an experience of, Italy, the HBA team strove to avoid clichéd depictions of the country while staying true to its vibrant culture, stunning artwork, iconic architecture, and opulent elegance.
The tall, double-vaulted ceilings over the casual dining room or pizzeria are the first thing that catches the eye as soon as one steps inside. An expansive and tastefully decorated pizza and drink bar occupies one side of this casual dining area, while a wall adorned with chilled wine bottles occupies the other.
Two primary dining rooms at La Piazza are designed to meet the preferences of diners. In the Trattoria, a less stuffy spot with high tables, barrels, and a bar, you may enjoy a dynamic ambience and a pleasant nightlife vibe in a low-light environment. The Ristorante, the main dining space, is a few steps down the hall on the left. It is exquisitely decorated with Gothic ceilings topped with breathtaking Swarovski crystal chandeliers.
