Gotobox History
Established in February 2020 on Gil Fernando Avenue in Marikina City is Gotobox, a Filipino quick-service restaurant. It was once a modest neighbourhood eatery, but because of rapid expansion, it is now one of the Philippines’ most popular destinations, with six locations and a kiosk.
Mr. Edward Dela Cruz, the company’s CEO and sole owner, was inspired to create the business by fond memories of the legendary goto stores he frequented as a kid in his home province of Bulacan. The utilitarian aesthetic of shipping containers primarily influenced Gotobox’s design. The ultimate goal of Dela Cruz and Gotobox is to have the brand recognized throughout the Philippines. Gotobox is expanding throughout Metro Manila and will soon reach the suburbs and outlying provinces.
