The restaurant’s name, Anzani, is the surname of husband-and-wife combination Marco and Kate Dychangco-Anzani, who opened it in 2008. Located atop Nivel Hills, this venue merges fine dining with entertainment, cosy accommodations, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of Cebu. What Anzani does is highlight the best of what Cebu has to offer, both locally and internationally. The restaurant serves a menu inspired by the flavours of the New Mediterranean.
The 120-person indoor dining area at Anzani serves Ala Carte meals. The “red plate” is the chef’s definition of the private dining room’s eight to ten available seats. The restaurant needs a menu. The chef cooks according to his whims and his mood. On one occasion, he served a dish of bittersweet chocolate ravioli with lamb tangine and sambucca foam reduction, which both intrigued and baffled the diners. Only a master chef knows how to blend flavour in just the right proportions.
When guests arrive, they can also visit the private wine cellar below ground and relax in an antique-decorated chamber stocked with 1,250 bottles of wine. In the middle of the room is a table made of Banuyo wood. We are happy to host private wine tastings and food-and-wine pairing events. Reservations are required for this table.

Anzani History
In Cebu, Philippines, Anzani New Mediterranean Cuisine has been wowing guests with its cutting-edge menu and eye-popping decor since 2009. Anzani has been the winner of the “Best of the Best” and “Cebu’s Best” awards for five consecutive years in the international sector.
The brand’s presence in the realm of concept development and AIG-affiliated restaurants has grown thanks to the company’s affiliation with Anzani International Group. There are three locations of Gusto Cafe in Cebu: one by the sea (GUSTO MARE), one in the heart of the city (GUSTO AYALA), and one in the city’s burgeoning technology district (I.T Park). District 53 is a novel idea that the collective introduced in 2016. A total of 53 different artisan culinary adventures, ranging from Lebanese salads to distinctly Asian cuisine and from Turkish to Moroccan cuisine, are brought to life in this place.
