The first Rue Bourbon restaurant debuted in March 2009 at Global City’s Fort Bonifacio. The proprietors hoped their consumers in the Philippines would have the same exciting and novel experience they had had on the original Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The concept of a bar with a rustic yet cozy look that served excellent Southern food took the world by storm.

The unique atmosphere, delicious food, extensive selection of specialty cocktails, and friendly service at the Bar struck an immediate chord with Filipino customers. People finally felt a sense of ownership over Rue Bourbon. A new mission was established in 2011 to differentiate itself from rivals by providing a more extensive menu in addition to its already successful Dinner menu.

All this work was done to transform everyone’s favorite watering spot, Rue Bourbon, into a genuine casual dining experience. The program aims to revitalize the brand and prepare it for future expansion in the Philippines and overseas by adopting international standards that can compete with foreign concepts.

The company Rue Bourbon Holdings, Inc. owns the Rue Bourbon brand. Canbro Concepts Holdings, Inc. is responsible for its management at the moment. There are now 6 locations, with ambitions for further domestic and international growth.
