How to Make Khandvi   - खांडवी कैसे बनाये




Ingredients :-

  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions :-


1.In a mixing bowl, combine the gram flour, yogurt, water, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth batter.


2.Heat a pan and pour the batter into it. Keep stirring the batter constantly to avoid lumps. Cook the batter on medium heat until it thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.


3.Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.


4.Once the mixture has cooled, use your hands to roll the mixture into thin cylindrical shapes.


5.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard Seeds, cumin seeds, green chilies, and asafoetida. Allow the seeds to crackle.


6.Add the rolled khandvi to the pan and toss to coat them in the tempering.


7.Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve the Khandvi hot.
