Ingredients :-
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the rosting :-
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions :-
1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round Cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.

3.In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla extract.
4.Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
5.Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
6.Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
7.Allow the cakes to cool completely before frosting.
8.To make the frosting, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and continue beating until the frosting is light and fluffy.
9.Place one cake layer on a serving plate and top with a layer of frosting. Place the second cake layer on top and frost the top and sides of the cake.
