TAJ MAHAL

Agra is one of India’s most visited towns, as it is home to India’s most famous sight, the Taj Mahal, and is a part of the famous Golden Triangle circuit. The majestic Taj Mahal, erected as a memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal by the fifth emperor of the Mughal Empire Shah Jahan, is believed to be the embodiment of love and is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Millions of people visit this lovely mausoleum each year to appreciate it and learn about its unique history. Princess Diana, Hillary Clinton, and Mark Zuckerberg are among the notable visitors.

RANTHAMBORE

Ranthambore National Park is roughly 13.5 kilometres from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan’s capital. This spot, at the confluence of the Aravali and Vindhya hill ranges, is one of the best sites to see wild animals, as they are accustomed to being watched. The park is around 400 square kilometres in size, and when coupled with the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary region, it is approximately 500 square kilometres.

GOA

Goa is the tiniest state in western India, with Arabian Sea coasts. Goa was designated a state of India on May 30, 1987. Panaji City, Goa’s capital, is known for its world-class beaches, delicious cuisine, and welcoming people. Goa is best recognised for its world-renowned beaches.

KERALA

Kerala has the lowest positive population growth rate in India, at 3.44 percent; the highest Human Development Index (HDI), 0.784 in 2018 (0.712 in 2015); the highest literacy rate, 96.2 percent, according to the National Statistical Office of India’s 2018 literacy survey;[8] the highest life expectancy, 77 years; and the highest sex ratio, 1,084 women per 1,000 men. According to the Reserve Bank of India’s Annual Report published in 2013, Kerala is India’s second least poor state.

MADURAI

Madurai, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is one of the country’s oldest cities, with a 2,500-year history. It is still the epicentre of Tamil culture and education, attracting both domestic and international visitors seeking to immerse themselves in the unique south Indian culture.

AMRITSAR

Amritsar, located on India’s northwest border with Pakistan, offers a unique tourist experience. Sikhs, who believe in equality regardless of race, religion, caste, or gender, make up about half of the population. (Sikh means “learner” or “seeker of truth,” and Sikhism is the world’s fifth largest religion.) Amritsar, the holiest city for Sikhs, was founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru and is home to the majestic Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib, “The Abode of God”), the major place of worship for all Sikhs. Pilgrims from all around the world go to the temple, which welcomes guests of all faiths.

MUNNAR

The gorgeous and quiet hill station of Munnar, which sits at a height of around 1,500 m / 4,921 ft, is the perfect destination in South India to escape the heat of the lowlands and get near to nature. It is a heaven for honeymooners, leisure tourists, and nature enthusiasts, with gorgeous valleys, mountain streams, and emerald-green tea plantations. This is also the epicentre of South India’s greatest tea-growing region. You may go on a nature walk through 19th-century tea estates, see ladies harvest tea leaves, and visit a factory to learn about all the labour that goes into brewing a cup of tea. Make sure to try some tea and take some home with you as a souvenir.

VARANASI

Varanasi is the holiest city for Hindus and the spiritual heart of India, lying on the left bank of India’s most sacred river, the Ganges. It is unlike any other Indian city. It is here that you can see public life and death rites, such as pilgrims washing in the Ganges’ hallowed waters to wash away sins and bodies of the dead being burned at riverside ghats in the hope of reincarnation. The residents appear to be accustomed to it. Varanasi is undoubtedly one of the most wonderful and fascinating places to visit because of this. Enjoying a stroll along the riverfront ghats, taking a morning boat ride on the Ganges, and viewing the evening Ganga Aarti are just a few of the must-do activities.

RAJASTHAN

Rajasthan, sometimes known as the “Land of Kings,” is India’s largest state, located in northwestern India. Rajputs governed the Land of Royalty for a long time, and they are still held in high regard today. Rajasthan’s Royal Rajputs were descended from the Kshatriyas, or warriors, of Vedic India. The Indus Valley Civilization, one of the world’s first and oldest civilizations, was located in Rajasthan. Rajasthan’s top attractions include its unique culture, the Thar Desert, magnificent forts, palaces, and temples, as well as large fairs and festivals.

DELHI

The Red Fort was originally referred to as “Qila-i-Mubarak” (the blessed fort), because it was the residence of the royal family. The layout of the Red Fort was organised to keep and integrate this site with the Salimgarh Fort. The planning and aesthetics of the Red Fort represent the high point in Mughal creativity which happened during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. This Fort has had many additions after its construction by Emperor Shah Jahan. It is a World Heritage Site.^[2] it is made out of red sandstone.
