Pot

A bright yellow pot that the manufacturers have decided should be shorter and fatter than your standard instant noodle pot. I find the extra circumference takes up more room in your drawer than a standard cup and makes it slightly harder to hold.

Deserves points for being an all cardboard container that can be recycled, but the peel back lid is plastic. I do like the little markers on the peel back lid that show you what’s halfway, just to remind you not to rip off the entire lid when pouring the hot water in.

What’s Inside and how to prepare

Peeling back the lid halfway you discover the plain Noodles and the plastic sachet of flavouring.

As well as flavouring you get a few dehydrated vegetables, carrot, peas, sweetcorn and chives.

Taste

After waiting 3 minutes for the boiling water to do its thing I gave the noodles a stir.

The noodles looked appetising and the subtle aroma reminded me of chicken stock. The noodles were of good consistency and the taste of the stock, was way above expectation considering these noodles are cheap. While I can’t say if the Chicken Flavour was ‘roast’ chicken flavour, but it was definitely chicken, it was seasoned well not being too salty unlike others but most importantly it tasted good. The vegetables tasted like they should, but I would have preferred more.
