Ginataang Lubi Lubi and Langka With Shrimp


How about the rarely found vegetable called Lubi-Lubi? Mix it with young jackfruit and coconut milk then it will make a nutritious vegetable dish like Ginataang Lubi-Lubi and Langka and to make it more special add fresh shrimp, and voila!

In our home town, this dish is originally called "Palusag na Lubi-Lubi and Langka". Palusag means a saucy vegetable dish either jackfruit, lubi-lubi, taro leaves or laing where the coconut milk is cooked until the oil comes out.

Here are the ingredients:

1-2 bundle young lubi lubi leaves
1 medium young jackfruit chopped
1/4 kilo shrimp
3 cups of coconut milk
1 teaspoon bagoong alamang
2 piece onion chopped
4 cloves garlic minced
3 thumb size ginger chopped
2 shrimp cubes
2-4 long green pepper (siling haba)
seasoning granule
ground black pepper
salt to taste
