Moscow Mule Mocktail

Moscow Mules are one of my favorite drinks. Give me that zesty ginger flavor, fresh lime, and mint!!! The perfect pairing. This Moscow Mule Mocktail has all of it minus the vodka. So, you can enjoy these lovely flavors any time of day or if you simply choose not to drink alcohol. It’s so refreshing in the summer months. I also think the ginger flavor extends this drink to fall time. But, let’s be real, you can enjoy this tasty drink all year round.

It’s sugar-free, dairy-free, and vegan!

My husband and I are truly obsessed with this crazy simple, delightful mocktail and reach for it on most nights on the weekend.

Check out this article that highlights why mocktails are here to stay!

What is in a Moscow Mule Mocktail?

In true Don’t Skip the Cookie fashion, this drink is way healthier than a typical Moscow mule cocktail. I make sure to use a stevia-sweetened Ginger Ale so it is sugar-free and has clean ingredients. Also, the fresh mint paired with ginger is soothing for your digestion. The lime is full of vitamin C and antioxidants.

Ingredients and Substitutions for Moscow Mule Mocktail

Ginger Ale- I used Zevia Ginger Ale zero calorie, zero-sugar soda. It is so, so good and is also way healthier than typical ginger ale. I love that it has actual ginger extract instead of just natural flavors that aren’t real ginger. You can use any ginger ale you like in this recipe though, I just love Zevia’s healthier sodas!

Carbonated Water- Any unflavored carbonated or sparkling water works here. Carbonated water is relatively optional. I don’t like my drinks super sweet so I do half the ginger ale and half carbonated water to make it taste less sweet and more balanced for my liking. But, if you like really sweet, you can skip the carbonated water and just do a whole can of ginger ale. You do you!

Fresh Limes- I wouldn’t subsitute with lemon here, it will not have the same zesty effect. The lime is perfection.

Fresh Mint

Moscow Mule mugs are somewhat optional, but not really if you want all the true Moscow Mule vibes!! I love these from Amazon. They are copper, with gold handles, so cute!

Also, if you love mocktails, try these other favorites of mine!!

If you also do cocktails, my absolute favorite is my Lavender Haze Cocktail. (Where are my swifties at!!) It is as beautiful as it is delicious.

Grab your cute little chilled copper mug and let’s whip up the easiest mocktail you will ever make.

Please leave me a review to let me know how you like this!
