Nitrogen cold Brew is made by infusing cold brew coffee with with nitro, or nitrogen gas.

Most drinks we are used to consuming contain carbon dioxide, which is what is responsible for creating the large bubbles in sodas and beers. Nitrogen is, therefore, an alternative to carbon dioxide, and is just as safe to consume.

However, nitrogen will look different from carbon dioxide when infused into a liquid. It will make much smaller bubbles and will make for a creamy, sweet, and smooth beverage. Perfect for a cup of coffee!

• Infusing cold brew with nitrogen will sweeten the coffee without using any additional sweeteners.
• A nitro cold brew will taste mild and sweet without using any dairy products, and therefore it is safe for those who may be lactose intolerant or sensitive to milk.
• Because of the brewing method, cold-brew is far lower in acidity than regular coffee. This, therefore, makes it much easier on the stomach.

Nitro cold brew is appealing and delicious but does come with a spendy price tag. The good news? It is possible to make it and enjoy it from the comfort of your home!

Your options can either be to use a kettle system and infuse a cup at a time, or invest in a nitro cold brew coffee maker!
