Bombay Chicken

Chicken drumsticks pan fried, sauteed in spices along with chillies and tinned tomatoes, topped with Coconut Milk. Recipe from India by Svetlana Nálepková from the show VIP Prostřeno.

Ingredients:

750 g of chicken drumsticks (chicken thighs and bone) 1 can coconut milk 1 can of peeled tomatoes 1 handful crushed nuts 1.5 tsp of turmeric 1 tsp Roman cumin 1 tsp chopped coriander 5 pcs larger cloves of garlic 3 pcs of chilli 1 pcs of onion/td>1 pk piece of fresh ginger ground chilli powder olive oil oil for roasting salt fresh cilantro sprigs for garnish

Procedure:

1. Pour a little oil into a large pot or deep frying pan and lightly fry the finely chopped onion
2. Add the chopped coriander, crushed garlic, grated ginger, turmeric, chilli peppers de-seeded and cut into strips, chilli seasoning and Roman cumin, fry everything
3. At this stage, put the chicken drumsticks in a pot, fry them on all sides, season with salt, cover them lightly with hot water and simmer until tender
4. Finally, add the can of tomatoes and the brine to the pot and pour the coconut milk over the dish, simmer for a while until the sauce is slightly reduced and thickened, add salt to taste
5. Garnish individual servings on plates with fresh coriander and crushed nuts.

Recommendation:

In some recipes, pineapple chunks are added to the mixture along with the drumsticks, or pieces of Vegetable Recipes. Serve rice as a side dish.
