Arabic spread or dip made from chickpeas and other ingredients called hummus is very tasty and healthy, that is, if prepared properly. It is most often served with raw, chopped Vegetable Recipes. However, it can also be served on toast and the like.
Ingredients:
425 g
mutton chops (garbanzo), 1 can, drained and rinsed

garlic clove, crushed

extra virgin olive oil

lemon juice
1/4 tsp
sesame oil
1/2 tsp
ground cumin
1/2 tsp

1/4 cup (60 ml)
water
sunflower seeds
Procedure:
Place the rinsed chickpeas on half of a kitchen towel. Fold the other half of the tea towel over the beans and rub them to begin to peel off the skins.
Place all the peeled chickpeas in the bowl of a food processor along with the salt, cumin and garlic. Turn on the processor to grind the mixture.
Add the lemon juice, olive oil, sesame oil and water and let the processor work until the mixture is smooth.
Splash with olive oil, sprinkle with sunflower seeds and serve with chips or Vegetable Recipes of your choice.
