Fermented miso paste is already popular not only in Asia, but thanks to its positive effects on health and interesting taste, it has reached the whole world. Combine it with butter and salmon. You get a very tasty lunch or dinner. Miso butter is worth keeping in the fridge almost all the time, it enhances the flavour of baked and grilled dishes, not just fish.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Stir the butter at room temperature with the miso paste until smooth. Add the lemon zest and juice and whisk some more.

Shape the miso butter into a cylinder and roll it tightly in food wrap. Leave in the fridge to set.

Grill or pan fry the salmon fillets, skin side down first for 4-5 minutes.

Then cook the other sides for 3-4 minutes.

Transfer the salmon to a plate and place a slice of miso butter on top of the still hot fish. The rest can also be frozen. Serve with any side dish. Enjoy!
