Cauliflower Pulao|Gobi Pulao Recipe|Subhis Kitchen

Cauliflower Pulao|Gobi Pulao - full recipe with stepwise pictures and video. Pulao recipes are always easy to make . They are perfect for lunchbox. I love pulaos as it has a mild taste,  i like to have it with a spicy sidedish. You can serve it with chicken curry or any other spicy fries or curries. This pulao tasted great and it is an another simple recipe from me.I'm trying to post more easy lunchbox recipes. I've already posted carrot pulao, check the recipe. Ingredients:
To Temper:
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds  1tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Star anise - 1
Cardamom - 1
Kalpaasi - 1
Cinnamon stick - 1 small
For Pulao:
Green chilli - 2
Garlic -  3-4 finely chopped
Onion - 1 finely sliced
Cauliflower florets - 1 cup
Rice - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Salt

Method:
Heat a pressure cooker
Add 2 tbsp ghee followed by fennel and cumin seeds
Add the whole garam masala
Saute well till it splutters and nice aroma arises
Add green chilli and fienly chopped garlic
Saute well for a minute
Add finely sliced onion
Saute till it turns soft
Add the cauliflower  florets
Cook for 2 - 3 minutes
Add 2 cups water and salt
Wait till it starts to boil
Add washed rice
Once everything comes to a rolling boil cover the pressure cooker lid and cook for 3 whistle
After the pressure settles naturally open the lid and gently fluff up the rice
Tasty cauliflower pulao is ready to serve
Serve hot with any spicy curries or fries
