Crispy Thread Prawns

Ingredients:

300 gm big Prawns, cleaned
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup cornflour
1 egg
salt to taste
spring roll sheets, as required
oil, for frying

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, add cleaned prawns, chilli powder, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, plain flour, cornflour and egg and mix well. Keep it aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the spring roll sheets into thin strips.
  3. Wrap the thinly cut strips over each marinated prawns properly.
  4. Heat oil on medium-low flame and fry the wrapped prawns till golden brown.
  5. Drain them on a paper towel and serve hot with sauce or your favorite dip…
