Ingredients:
3 potatoes
1 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
salt to taste
3 tbsp cornflour
1 egg, beaten
bread crumbs, as required
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Boil the potatoes, peel and mash it well without any lumps.
- To the mashed potatoes, add pepper powder, garlic powder, oregano , salt and cornflour and mix well.
- Make soft dough and freeze for 1 hour to avoid the breakage while frying.
- Then roll the dough into small balls and dip in the beaten egg and then coat with bread crumbs. Double coat ( again dip it in egg and coat with bread crumbs) for more crunchiness.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain them on a paper towel….Serve with tomato sauce…
- You can also freeze after making balls and dipping and coating with egg and bread crumbs. Take it from freezer and deep fry them…
