Chakkakuru Milkshake / Jackfruit Seeds Shake

Ingredients:

12-15 jackfruit seeds / chakkakuru
500 ml chilled milk
sugar, as per your taste
a pinch of cardamom powder ( or 1/2 tsp vanilla essence)

Preparation:

  1. Peel the white skin of jackfruit seeds and pressure cook it adding enough water for 3 whistles till soft.
  2. Allow it to cool and then sparingly scrape the brown skin of the seeds (this step is optional , can use without removing it).
  3. Transfer this to a blender and add 1/2 cup of milk and blend well till smooth.
  4. Then add sugar , remaining milk and cardamom powder and blend well again till smooth and creamy..
  5. Pour into the serving glasses and serve chilled….
