Crock-Pot Barbecue Chicken Wings

Easy juicy Chicken Wings covered with barbecue sauce makes the perfect easy summer dinner. Or these wings would be perfect for serving as a game day appetizer. It is easy to prepare these wings, season with some seasonings and cover with barbecue sauce, then let the crock-pot cook until the chicken is tender and juicy. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces for a delicious meal or appetizer.

The seasoning mixture for these wings is made with brown sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. The brown sugar and paprika give these wings a slightly sweet and spicy barbecue flavoring. Place the wings into a greased crock-pot and season with the seasoning mixture. Cover with the barbecue sauce and let cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high heat for 3-4 hours.

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, brown sugar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Place chicken wings into a large greased crock-pot. Season with the seasoning mixture. Pour barbecue sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
