Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

Fluffy and sweet brownies topped with a layer of creamy and delicious Cheesecake. And swirled with Cherry Pie Filling. You get two desserts in one with these brownies, it combines classic chewy chocolate brownies with a creamy cherry cheesecake. These cherry cheesecake brownies are a delicious dessert for any occasion.

To make the cheesecake filling, cream cheese is mixed with sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. The brownie layer is made by combining all of the ingredients into a large bowl, whisking until smooth. You can also use a boxed brownie mix instead. Spread the prepared brownie batter into a greased baking dish. Top with the cheesecake filling. Drop the cherry pie filling over the mixture, and swirl with a knife. Bake until both the brownie layer and cheesecake layer are fully cooked through.

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ( 28 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Ingredients for Brownies

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, with a mixer, beat softened cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together. Add in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, whisk until smooth.
  • Spread brownie batter into a large greased baking dish. Spread cheesecake filling over brownie batter. Drop tablespoonfulls of cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer, swirl with a knife. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
