Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dolce di Rossano "Seculiaris", Frantoio Converso

Olive oils from the Calabria region are rare to be found outside Italy due to the fact that there are no big mills and their olives tend to have a lower yield, but at Italyabroad.com we are all about small, independent producers.

This is a fantastic organic extra virgin olive oil made with Dolce di Rossano, a native olive variety, so called “monocultivar”, made with just one olive variety, grown in olive groves in hills facing the Ionian Sea, manually harvested. This premium organic extra virgin olive oil has a very low acidity, is rich in polyphenols and natural antioxidants and highly nutritional, with a nose with almonds notes and a delicate palate, almost sweet, perfect for those who do not like peppery oils.

This extra virgin olive oil is to bed use raw to finish dishes, from fish to meat, to salad, it is a perfect compliment.
