5 days/4 nights (Thursday 22nd to Monday 26th September )

Join us in one of our wine tours, famous for being some of the most interesting, fun, intimate tours. Not only because they allow you to see what goes behind the curtain, you talk to the producers and the wine makers not company's representative and understand that making wine is much more than pressing grapes and their unique relationship with their vineyards and grapes.

Our Tuscan wine tours is an exclusive food and wine tour touching some of the best and most renowned “wine” Tuscan cities and villages and include visits to vineyards and wineries in the regions, this is an exclusive wine tour, educational as well as fun.

Our Tuscan wine tour will be hosted by one of our wine experts and will introduce you to the winery owners and wine makers, you will not be entertained by representatives like most wine tours do, our wine tours are for real food and wine lovers.

Arrival, Thursday
Please make your own flight arrangements to Florence.
Meeting with the Italyabroad.com representative and we’re off to the land of the wines. If you are looking for a place to stay the night before let us know and we will help you.

Our accommodation
After everyone has arrived, we will drive to our base, a beautiful Tenuta, a gorgeous estate perched on a hill right in the middle of the Chianti area with stunning views over the trolling hills of Tuscany. The Tenuta is an ancient family farm that has been fully renovated. Lounge by the pool, sit on the patio, sip an espresso, or maybe a glass of rosso, red wine, and enjoy your stay, this is everything you imagined Tuscany to be. Benvenuti in Toscana, Welcome to Tuscany..
Visit, tasting and dinner
In the afternoon, after having checked in, we will have a wine tasting and then a dinner in a local restaurant not before having stopped for a proper aperitivo in a nearby village.

Friday - Chianti
Espresso, breakfast, and then get dirty in the vineyards, visit and chat with the winemaker that will continue over lunch. In the evening, we will visit a nearby village for an aperitivo and a Tuscan dinner.

Saturday - Maremma
9:30 am and we’re off to taste some of the best wines from Maremma. We will be heading to two wineries and will all have lunch together. Fantastico!
Maremma has proved to be a wonderful place for grapes such as Viognier, Petit Verdot and Vermentino and we will taste them and a few more, with an explanation of the terroir, the wine making process, Supertuscans, and we’ll have a vertical tasting, tasting of several vintages of the same wine. On the way back, we will stop in Siena where you’ll have some free time for a coffee in Piazza del Campo and some Tuscan shopping.
We’ve been busy for a few days eating and drinking, so tonight is a free evening for you to explore the local village or just relax in the Tenuta.

Sunday – Montalcino and Chianti Classico
After breakfast, we will head to Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, where will be visiting an estate and taste their wines with an introduction about the characteristics of the wine, terroir and wine making process from the oenologist and will have lunch. After lunch, we will enjoy a visit to the hilltop town of Montalcino which is really something to see, for more vino rosso and Tuscan food. Our final dinner together will be in Montalcino.
