Add some garlic and bring it to a simmer. Cooldown the peas and transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. Place the garlic mixture and shallots in a pan and fry again. Drop some parsley sprigs and stir to coat.

Ingredients:

  • Frozen green peas, 4 cups.
  • Shallots, 4 large.
  • Finely minced garlic, 1 clove.
  • Butter, 1 tbsp.
  • Olive oil, 1 tbsp.
  • Salt, ½ tbsp.
  • Ground black pepper, ½ tbsp.
  • Fresh parsley, 2 tbsp.

Preparation Method:

  1. Take a skillet and add shallots, butter, and olive oil. Cook on medium flame till the shallots are lightly browned. It takes only 4-6 minutes.
  2. Then transfer finely minced garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Now, place frozen green peas, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix occasionally. Cook for 2-4 minutes.
  4. Then turn off the flame and sprinkle some chopped parsley.
  5. Remove in a dish and serve. Enjoy!

Notes:

It is necessary to buy the larger green peas instead of petite. The reason behind this is that small or petite peas cook very quickly and feel mushy and plump.
